MIMICS

mimics are very malevolent, tall creatures that CAN and WILL kill anything on sight.

if you see a disguised mimic, you still have time. steer clear of it, don't get in it's eyesight.

if you see an undisguised mimic, say goodbye unless you can start a car within half a second or can run at 78km/h, because you are most likely dead.

mimics also tend to stalk their prey in their undisguised state before chasing. so if you see those eyes, do NOT hesitate.

survival tactics

1. do NOT go outside during the night. these things are relentless and can't be seen in the dark.
2. they scream at the top of their lungs when chasing. if you hear distorted screaming, find cover. FAST.
3. any flimsy material (glass, wood, etc.) does NOT count as cover. they will just slam right through it, but that will stun them.
4. in their chasing state, they can see you. there is no doubt.
5. upon starting chase, mimics tend to only chase for 75 seconds, so if you can hide from them for that amount of time, you will be fine.
